If you don’t know us already, we’re a Southern Maine-based business owned by principals Jeff and Kathryn Hawkins that’s been around since January 2007.

We offer everything our business name implies and then some, ranging the gamut from content strategy and production, to web design and development, to photography and video production, to overall small business strategy. We’ve worked with individuals, non-profits, start-ups, small businesses and large corporations all over the world to craft and market branding materials and supplemental content for both web and print. Since 2009, we’ve also owned and operated Gimundo, a website and email newsletter dedicated to all things good, which typically receives 100,000+ unique visitors a month. (Sign up here - it’s free!)

Wondering why our web presence has been lacking until now? We’ve received most of our work through referrals and word-of-mouth, so we’ve been keeping busy with Gimundo and existing client projects (and our tempestuous two-year-old daughter, Leah)—the cobbler has no shoes, and all that.

But in the meantime, we’ve been focusing on growing our agency by bringing on trusted contractors and partners, studying industry best practices, and creating new strategic offerings for clients based on our own needs and desires as small business owners. At long last, we have a platform to show you what we’ve done—and what we can do for you.

We’ve created case studies to show some of the solutions we’ve created for our clients, and we’re planning to use this blog to share regular thoughts and tips on content marketing, web development, and entrepreneurship in general. So take a look around (it’s all shiny and new, we know, but no need to take your shoes off), and let us know what you think. We’d love to hear from you.

Oh, and don’t forget to sign up for our free email newsletter in the right-hand column of our site for links to new blog posts, and access to our soon-to-be-published subscriber-only e-book, Recycling for Fun and Profit: 7 Ways to Repurpose Content to Generate New Business Leads.

	Thanks for stopping in!

	Jeff and Kathryn Hawkins

Hawkins Multimedia Acquires Gimundo.com

For over a year in 2007 and 2008, Kathryn Hawkins of Hawkins Multimedia LLC worked as editor-in-chief of Gimundo.com, a website and daily e-newsletter dedicated to good news, which was owned by a Los Angeles start-up. In late 2008, the start-up folded (as start-ups are known to do), and Gimundo was presumed dead.

But not for long: in April 2009, Hawkins Multimedia LLC purchased Gimundo.com, redesigned it, and relaunched it the following month with a new look and new content. Now owned and operated solely by Hawkins Multimedia LLC (Kathryn handles the editorial and social media marketing roles, while Jeff runs web design, development, and all thing tech), the site traffic has grown from less than 20,000 to its current average of 250,000 unique visitors a month.

The site isn’t a full-time business for us at this point, but it’s an exciting side project that lets us connect with and inspire a large audience, sharing stories of fun, unique, and heartwarming happenings across the world.

Apart from our personal love of the site, from a professional standpoint, Gimundo gives us a chance to play in our own sandbox to work out how to make the best castles—letting us try new things any time we want, and pass along the benefit of our own experience to our consulting clients.

We’re still in the process of adding new features to Gimundo, but feel free to poke around the site for a while. We think you’ll like what you see. And if you’d like to see how we can help you, we’d be happy to discuss a consultation arrangement to fit your needs.
